Anaesthetic Management of Total Thyroidectomy in a Patient with Spinal Cord Compression due to Metastatic Follicular Thyroid Carcinoma

Vascular invasion is characteristic for follicular carcinoma of the thyroid and distant metastasis common. Spinal cord compression due to metastases differentiated as initial presentation an extremely rare condition. We report a case asymptomatic metastatic cancer which presented with spinal compression. This patient metastasized narrowing airway posed many challenges anesthetist.
